WHO IS YESHUA? #209 - THE DIVINE BLUEPRINT: FINDING YESHUA IN THE BEDROCK OF AOTEAROA
The Journey Home
We have reached the end of our series. We have travelled from the ancient philosophies of Greece and China to the historical roads of Rome and the deep traditions of our own Whare Wānanga. Through it all, we have seen that Yeshua is not just a religious figure from a far-away land. He is the Incarnate Blueprint, the original logic, wisdom, and life-force that designed the entire Woven Universe.
Not a Foreign God
One of the biggest misunderstandings in our history is the idea that Yeshua was a foreign invention brought to replace our culture. But as we have seen throughout these insights, the principles Yeshua represents, the order of whakapapa, the power of mauri, and the light that separates the darkness, were already part of the spiritual bedrock of Aotearoa. Our tūpuna were not being introduced to a stranger; they were being introduced to the face and name of the Spirit they had already been sensing in the wind and waves for centuries.
Yeshua does not come to take away our Māori identity. Instead, he comes to restore the high-fidelity connection to the Source that makes our identity truly flourish. He is the one who "downloads" the perfect patterns of the Heavens into the soil of our daily lives, ensuring that our culture is not just a memory of the past, but a living force for the future.
WHO IS YESHUA? #208 - HEROES AND ANCESTORS: COMPARING YESHUA TO MĀORI MYTHOLOGY
Finding the Familiar in Our Stories
Every culture has its heroes, figures who bridge the gap between common people and the high gods. When the story of Yeshua first arrived in Aotearoa, many Māori did not see him as a stranger. Instead, they saw his qualities and actions reflected in the ancient stories of our own ancestors and atua. In this post, we look at how three famous figures in Māori tradition help us understand different parts of Yeshua’s identity.
Tāne: The One Who Brings Light
Tāne-nui-a-rangi is known as the creator of forests and birds. He plays a vital role in our history as the one who pushed apart the Sky Father and Earth Mother, who were trapped in a tight embrace. By doing this, he allowed light to flood into the world, bringing about the "World of Light" (Te Ao Mārama). He also fashioned the first human woman from the red clay of the earth and breathed the breath of life into her.
In these ways, Tāne mirrors Yeshua’s role as the "Cosmological Christ", the one through whom the world was made and the one who brings light into the darkness of our lives. Like Tāne, Yeshua acts as a mediator who brings heavenly wisdom down to earth.
WHO IS YESHUA? #206 - THE SPIRITUAL ARCHITECTURE: WHAKAPAPA AS THE COSMIC CODE
More Than a Family Tree
In our Māori worldview, whakapapa is the foundation of everything. We often think of it as a list of ancestors or a family tree, but it is actually much larger than that. Whakapapa is the "Spiritual Architecture" of the universe. It is the layer-upon-layer of connections that tie the stars to the mountains, the mountains to the rivers, and the rivers to the people. It is the cosmic skeleton that holds the Woven Universe together.
The Source of the Connection
If the universe is built on these lines of connection, we have to ask: where did the first line come from? In this series, we have looked at Yeshua as the "Universal Logic" or the Blueprint. In terms of whakapapa, Yeshua is the original "code" from which all other connections grow. He is the primary ancestor of the entire system.
This means that whakapapa is not just a human invention to remember our history; it is a divine system of order. Because Yeshua is the "Incarnate Blueprint," he is the one who established the rules of how everything relates to everything else. He is the reason that the universe is not just a pile of random objects, but a family of related parts.
WHO IS YESHUA? #204 - JUSTICE AND LOVE: THE PROBLEM ONLY ONE PERSON COULD SOLVE
The Great Dilemma of the Universe
Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted to be completely fair, but you also wanted to be completely kind? This is the ultimate dilemma of "Justice" and "Love." In the context of the Woven Universe, this isn't just an emotional struggle; it is a matter of spiritual physics. To understand how Yeshua solves this, we have to look at it through the lens of our own tūpuna and the concepts of Tapu and Mana.
The Law of Tapu (Justice)
In our Māori worldview, Tapu is the foundation of order. While we often translate it as "sacred," it actually refers to the "Perfect Standard" or the "Primary Code" of the universe. Tapu is the set of laws that keeps everything in its proper place. When a wrong is committed—what we call a hara—the Tapu is violated.
Justice, in this sense, is the requirement that the balance must be set right. If a violation of the code is simply ignored, the whole system becomes unstable. The Woven Universe requires that every hara must have a response to bring the system back into equilibrium. This requirement for balance is what we call Justice.
WHO IS YESHUA? #203 - TWO THOUSAND YEARS OF WAITING: THE HISTORY THAT SHAPED THE STORY
The Tension of the Long Wait
Imagine waiting for a specific person to arrive for generations. You have the blueprints, you have the promises, and you have a deep sense that things are about to change, but the years keep rolling by. This was the atmosphere in the ancient world before Yeshua arrived. It wasn't just a few people waiting; it was an entire civilisation living in a state of high-alert expectation. They knew the "Universal Logic" we talked about in the last post was supposed to take human form, but the timing had to be perfect.
The Perfect Storm of History
History is not just a series of random events; it is a carefully organised sequence. For Yeshua to arrive as the "Incarnate Blueprint," the world needed to be ready. By the time he was born, three massive influences had come together to create the perfect "landing pad".
WHO IS YESHUA? #202 - A WORD HEARD IN EVERY LANGUAGE: THE UNIVERSAL LOGOS ACROSS CULTURES
The Secret Everyone Sensed
Every great civilisation in history has looked at the world and felt that there was a hidden intelligence or logic at work. They saw the way the stars followed a path, the way the seasons changed, and the way life seemed to come from a specific, organised design. It was as if there was a "Word" being spoken in a language that everyone could feel, even if they did not have a name for the speaker yet. This sense of a universal blueprint was not limited to one group of people, it was a global realisation that the world was built on a foundation of reason and purpose.
The Logic of the Great Civilisations
Different cultures developed their own ways to describe this "Cosmic Blueprint." In ancient Greece, philosophers spoke of the Logos, meaning "The Word" or "The Reason." For them, it was the invisible glue that kept the universe from falling into chaos. In ancient China, they taught about the Tao, or "The Way", the natural flow of the universe that guides all things. In ancient Egypt, they lived by Ma’at, the divine principle of truth, balance, and order.
Even though these people lived thousands of miles apart, they were all trying to name the same thing. They knew that the world was not a random accident. They sensed a "Master Frequency" that everything in nature was tuned to. In the Jewish tradition, this was called the Memra, the creative "Word of the Lord" through which everything was spoken into existence. They all saw the Blueprint, but they were still waiting to meet the Architect in person.
WHO IS YESHUA? #201 - THE PERSON AND THE PRINCIPLE: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE COSMIC BLUEPRINT
Introducing the “Who is Yeshua?” Series
Welcome to our new 9 part series, Who is Yeshua? In our previous series, we looked at how the universe is woven together and how we can walk the spirit path. Now, we are taking a closer look at the figure who sits at the center of it all. This series explores Yeshua not just as a religious character, but as a historical person and a universal principle of logic and order. We will look at how the ancient "code" of the universe became a human being and how that story fits perfectly with the wisdom of our own tūpuna in Aotearoa.
The Architect and the Occupant
Most people know the name Yeshua in a religious context, but his identity goes much deeper than that. To understand who he is, we have to look at two things at the same time: a person and a principle. Think of a house. To build a good house, you need a blueprint, a logical plan that makes sure the walls are straight and the roof stays up. You also need someone to live in it. Yeshua is unique because he is described as both the Blueprint for the entire universe and the person who came to live inside it.
