WHO IS YESHUA? #204 - JUSTICE AND LOVE: THE PROBLEM ONLY ONE PERSON COULD SOLVE
The Great Dilemma of the Universe
Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted to be completely fair, but you also wanted to be completely kind? This is the ultimate dilemma of "Justice" and "Love." In the context of the Woven Universe, this isn't just an emotional struggle; it is a matter of spiritual physics. To understand how Yeshua solves this, we have to look at it through the lens of our own tūpuna and the concepts of Tapu and Mana.
The Law of Tapu (Justice)
In our Māori worldview, Tapu is the foundation of order. While we often translate it as "sacred," it actually refers to the "Perfect Standard" or the "Primary Code" of the universe. Tapu is the set of laws that keeps everything in its proper place. When a wrong is committed, what we call a hara, the Tapu is violated.
Justice, in this sense, is the requirement that the balance must be set right. If a violation of the code is simply ignored, the whole system becomes unstable. The Woven Universe requires that every hara must have a response to bring the system back into equilibrium. This requirement for balance is what we call Justice.
The Restoration of Mana (Love)
While Justice focuses on the "Code" (Tapu), Love focuses on the "Person." Every human being is born with Mana, a divine authority and life-force that connects us to the Source. However, when we live in a way that breaks the code (living in hara), our Mana is diminished. We lose our spiritual "standing," and our life-force begins to move toward a state of mate (stagnation or spiritual death).
The Source (Io) has a heart of infinite Love. This Love is the intense desire to see our Mana restored and to bring us back into a state of Mauri Ora (flourishing). But here is the dilemma: how can the Source restore our Mana (Love) without ignoring the violation of Tapu (Justice)? If He just ignores the wrong, He violates His own perfect laws. If He only enforces the laws, we remain broken and disconnected.
Yeshua: The Utu and the Ea
To resolve this conflict, a very specific type of "response" was needed. In traditional Māori life, when a wrong was done, there had to be a response called Utu to bring things back into balance. When that balance was finally achieved, the situation was said to be Ea, it was settled, satisfied, and the "account" was closed.
Yeshua is the "Incarnate Blueprint" who stepped into history to provide the ultimate Utu. Because he was both fully part of the Source and fully human, he had the unique authority to act as our representative. On the cross, Yeshua took the full "strike" of the consequences of our hara onto himself. He didn't just ask the Source to "forget about" the broken code; he paid the price to fix it.
By taking the consequences of our actions, Yeshua satisfied the requirements of Tapu. He brought the universe back into balance. Because of him, the situation is now Ea, it is settled.
The Path to Mauri Ora is Legally Open
Because Yeshua has settled the debt of Justice, the "barrier" of the broken code has been removed. Now, the Love of the Source can flow to us without any restriction. Our Mana can be restored, not because the rules were ignored, but because they were perfectly fulfilled by Yeshua.
This is why Yeshua is the only person who could solve this problem. He reconciled the "Justice of the Standard" with the "Love of the People." He made it possible for us to be completely forgiven and restored to our full potential while keeping the laws of the Woven Universe perfectly intact. Through Yeshua, we can walk with our heads held high, knowing that our Mana is restored and our connection to the Source is legally and spiritually secure.
