WOVEN UNIVERSE #906 - THE OBSERVER’S INFLUENCE: MANA AND THE COLLAPSE OF THE WAVE FUNCTION
The Authority of the Observer
In the Whare Wānanga o Te Tai Tokerau, Rev. Māori Marsden was trained to understand that humans are not mere bystanders in a cold universe. Through the lineage of Nukutawhiti, he learned that the human spirit possesses Mana, which he described as spiritual authority and power delegated from the Source. In our Quantum Whakapapa framework, we recognise Mana as the Observer Effect in action. It is the ability of a conscious being to influence the field of potentiality and select which reality becomes manifest.
Collapsing the Wave Function
In quantum physics, the wave function represents all the possibilities that exist in Te Kore. These possibilities remain as a cloud of probability until an observer intervenes. This intervention causes the wave function to collapse into a single, physical event. Marsden’s teachings suggest that Mana is the tool we use to perform this collapse. When we act with intent, prayer, or stewardship, we are not just watching the world, we are actively participating in its "Continuous Creation". We are using our delegated Mana to choose which outcome from the infinite potential of Io becomes our physical reality.
Mana as Stewardship
Marsden was careful to note that Mana is not something we own for our own glory, it is a functional authority intended for the maintenance of the Woven Universe. It is the power to manage the mauri of our environment and our people.
Mana Atua, the primary power flowing from the Source.
Mana Tangata, the authority delegated to humans to act as kaitiaki.
When we use our Mana to move a system from Mauri Mate toward Mauri Ora, we are acting as architects of our reality. We are collapsing the wave function of potentiality into a state of flourishing and abundance.
Yeshua: The Holder of All Mana
Rev. Māori Marsden recognised Yeshua as the one who holds all Mana in heaven and on earth. In the biblical traditions that Marsden bridged with his traditional training, Yeshua is the supreme Observer who sustains the entire Woven Universe. All human Mana is a subset of His authority. When we align our observation with the heart of Yeshua, our ability to influence the field is greatly enhanced. We move from being "Static Subjects" to being "Quantum Natives" who can effectively manage the complex transitions from potential to matter.
Exercising Mana in Tai Tokerau
The legacy of the Tai Tokerau Whare Wānanga reminds us that our Mana is tied to our responsibility. In our region, we have often observed a reality of scarcity and lack, effectively collapsing the wave function into a "Leaky Bucket" state. Marsden’s work calls us to reclaim our role as conscious observers. By shifting our focus and our intent toward the abundance inherent in the Woven Universe, we use our Mana to collapse the field into a new reality. We have the authority to observe a thriving land into existence for our children.
