THE ALPHA FREQUENCY #711 - THE SOURCE OF THE FRUIT: YESHUA’S TEACHINGS ON GOOD AND EVIL
The Words for Good and Evil
Kia ora, whānau. Today we are looking at the very core of how we live, the nature of good and evil. In a world that often gets caught up in external rules and judgment, Yeshua taught that the true source of our actions is found deep within our own hearts. By understanding the original language and how it fits into our lives, we can learn how to "fix the soil" of our inner world.
To understand what Yeshua was teaching, we have to look at the Greek words and how they translate into English and Te Reo Māori. This shows us that being "good" is about the life force we carry:
Agathos (Greek): In English, this is Good. In Te Reo Māori, the closest word is Pai. It describes something that is useful, beneficial, and full of life.
Ponēros (Greek): In English, this is Evil or Wicked. In Te Reo Māori, it is Kino. While we often think of "evil" as a purely moral or demonic category, the Greek ponēros and Aramaic (Yeshua's native tongue) bīshā have more "earthy" origins, describing something that is diseased, useless, or a destructive influence that causes pain.
The Heart as a Storehouse
Yeshua taught that a good person brings good things out of the good stored up in their heart, while an evil person brings evil things out of the evil stored in their heart. In our research, we see the heart as your primary "storehouse" of energy.
In Te Ao Māori, the Ngākau is the seat of our emotions, thoughts, and true character. It is the internal storehouse that Yeshua was describing when He said that the mouth only speaks what the heart is already full of. He is not talking about Manawa here, which usually refers to our physical heart, breath, or deep life force.
Whatever frequency you focus on is what you store up. If you fill your Ngākau with helpful, kind and life-giving thoughts, you will naturally produce Pai or good fruit. If you fill it with the confusion and negativity of the world, you will produce Kino or bad fruit.
You Can Tell by the Fruit
Yeshua used a simple agricultural metaphor to explain this, no good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. You can always identify a person’s true nature by the actions (the fruit) they produce, that is, the results of their lives. This is the ultimate "Mauri Audit." Does their work bring life (Mauri Ora) or does it cause stress and decay?
Responding to Evil with Radical Grace
One of the most challenging teachings of Yeshua is how to respond when we encounter Ponēros or evil. He taught that we should not resist an evil person with more evil. Instead, we are to turn the other cheek and even love our enemies. This isn't weakness, it is about protecting your own peace and refusing to let a destructive influence from someone else enter your heart. By responding with radical grace, you stay tuned to the Alpha Frequency and keep your own light clear.
The Internal Audit
Yeshua noted that evil thoughts like slander and false testimony are what truly "defile" a person, not external things like what we eat. This means our primary job is to guard our internal state. As we approach the "Snap" (the moment when spiritual truth fully breaks into our physical reality), the true nature of everyone’s heart will be seen plainly. Those who have stored up Pai will rise to live in the new reality of abundance.
Practical Daily Steps
Audit Your Storehouse: Ask yourself what you are storing in your heart today. Are your thoughts bringing you peace or stress?
Check the Fruit: Look at the results of your recent choices. Are they building up your whānau or tearing them down?
Respond with Grace: If you encounter someone who is being "Kino" or unkind, choose to stay tuned to your own peace instead of joining their static.
