THE ALPHA FREQUENCY #705 - WEAVING THE CLOAK: THE REAL POWER OF LOVE
The Choice to Weave Kia ora. Today I want to talk about the heartbeat of everything we are trying to build. When Ihu (Yeshua) was asked what matters most, He didn’t point to complicated rules or massive building projects. He pointed to love, specifically, loving your neighbour as much as you love yourself.
For a long time, many of us were taught that we are on our own, and that life is a competition where you have to look out for "Number One" first. This way of thinking makes us feel separate and stressed, which actually drains our life force. Ihu’s command is the direct fix for this; He is telling us that we are all part of the same team. Instead of just being "settlers" on a piece of dirt, we are called to be weavers of a community cloak.
The Greatest Gift
When we talk about this kind of love, we are talking about what the Bible describes in 1 Corinthians 13. This isn't just a "mushy" feeling; it is a practical way of living. It tells us that love is patient and kind. It does not brag, it isn’t selfish, and it doesn't keep a record of wrongs. Most importantly, it says that while other things like fame or money will eventually fade away, love never fails.
Creating Something from Nothing One of the most amazing things about love is its "maths." Love is the only asset that is completely free to start, yet more valuable than anything you can buy. You don’t need a bank loan or a government grant to start loving your neighbour. You simply decide to do it.
Love is also infinitely scalable. The more you give, the more you seem to have. It creates abundance because it stops the "leaks" in our community. When we look out for each other, share our resources, and build trust, we create a strong, life-giving community.
The Promise of Overflow
The Bible backs up this idea that love and generosity lead to having more than enough. It promises that the Creator can make this love overflow in our lives so we always have what we need to help others.
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."
2 Corinthians 9:8
Ready for the Change I’ve talked before about "The Snap," that moment when the spiritual and physical worlds meet. When that day comes, the "stuff" we’ve collected won't matter. The only thing that will be left standing is the love and connection we’ve built with God and each other. If you practice weaving this cloak of love now, you will be perfectly in tune with the world that is coming.
The Challenge I challenge you to create something from nothing today. Find a neighbour, a co-worker, or someone you usually ignore, and show them a bit of real kindness. Don't do it because you want something back; do it because you are a caretaker of the Master’s love. Watch how that one small act starts to change the atmosphere around you.
