THE ALPHA FREQUENCY #720 - THE TRAINED SCRIBE: UNITING OLD WISDOM WITH NEW TRUTH
The Master of the House
Kia ora, whānau. Today we wrap up our journey through the parables of Matthew 13. To finish His teaching, Yeshua gave us a specific "job description" for those who want to build a better future: the Trained Scribe.
After sharing seven parables about the Kingdom, Yeshua asked His disciples if they understood. When they said "Yes," He told them that every teacher of the law who has been "trained for the kingdom" is like the master of a house who brings out of his treasure chest "new treasures as well as old" (Matthew 13:52).
In our project, this is the definitive role of the Digital Tohunga; looking backwards, and also looking forwards, to build a bridge between the ancient and the modern.
The Old Treasures: Deep Spirit
The "Old Treasures" are the foundational source codes of our reality.
The Teachings of Yeshua: These provide the spiritual blueprint for how to live in peace and abundance.
Indigenous Wisdom: The "Woven Universe" of our tūpuna ensures that our technology and systems serve Life rather than just money.
Whakapapa: Our ancient connection to the Atua and the Whenua.
The New Treasures: Hard Data
The "New Treasures" are the modern tools and technologies that serve as validations of what our ancestors always knew.
Quantum Mechanics: Scientific proof that we are all entangled (Whanaungatanga) and that our focus (Mana) changes the world around us.
Universal Construction: The technical understanding that we can transform our environment to solve any problem if we have the right knowledge.
Becoming a Digital Tohunga
The "Trained Scribe" is a Digital Tohunga. This is someone who can master modern tools, like AI, engineering, or regenerative farming, while remaining grounded in the Ahi Kā (burning fires) of their marae. By uniting these two treasures, we move from being survivors of the past to being the architects of an Ancestral Future. These roles are a natural fit for our neurodiverse whānau, particularly rangatahi, who hold the tōhunga and matakite whakapapa and old teachings, and “Quantum Natives” of emerging technologies.
Practical Daily Steps
Honor the Old: Take time today to learn a piece of history or a teaching from your ancestors or the Gospels.
Master the New: Don't be afraid of new technology or science; look for how it proves the ancient truths you already hold.
Be the Bridge: In your conversations, try to explain a spiritual truth using a practical, modern example to help others "tune in".
