Uncovering Hidden Historical Roots

This reflective insight is a bit of a departure from my usual focus on regional economics and quantum physics, but at its heart, it is entirely connected. Our research into the colonial operating system is about understanding how communities were disempowered to allow extraction and control. While I readily acknowledge that I am not entirely qualified to speak on all aspects of this topic given that I am not a woman, it is an issue I feel compelled to bring to light on this forum.

When we look back at the European witch trials between 1450 and 1750, pop culture tells us stories of broomsticks, black cats, and dark magic. But historical research, including the work of scholars like Silvia Federici and journalist Lucianne Tonti, reveals a far more calculated reality. The witch hunts were never really about magic. They were a systematic effort to disenchant the world, stripping nature of its sacred life force so it could be dominated, enclosed, and exploited.

A Simple Rule for Life

Here is a deep truth that has been sitting on my heart lately, especially when I look at the heavy challenges facing our beautiful home in the North. This wisdom actually came from my youngest child, who was only eleven at the time. It is a incredibly simple rule of thumb for life, a hierarchy of basic human needs that our modern world constantly gets twisted:

The major hurdle we face today under the constant pressure of a cold, demanding system is that we frequently swap numbers two and three. We put the "grind" before our joy, and by doing that, we severely damage the very spirit, the wairua, that fuels our actual purpose in life.
