BUSINESS CONCEPT #308 - GEOTHERMAL DATA SOVEREIGNTY CENTRE

A Tier 4 data centre at Ngāwhā powered by geothermal energy, providing "Sovereign Cloud" storage for Iwi data under a Kaitiakitanga License.

This venture establishes a world-class, carbon-neutral data facility at Ngāwhā that secures the "Digital Flesh" (data) of Iwi and Māori organisations. It serves indigenous groups and ethical enterprises seeking high-security, culturally governed cloud storage powered by renewable enthalpy cascades.

The Problem: Currently, indigenous data is stored in offshore, commercial clouds (data colonialism), where it is subject to foreign laws and lacks cultural protection. Furthermore, standard data centres have a massive carbon footprint.

The Solution: We provide a "Sovereign Cloud" that physically resides on ancestral land, cooled and powered by geothermal energy. Our Kaitiakitanga License ensures that data is managed according to tikanga, preventing unauthorised exploitation while achieving net-zero emissions.
